<p>Can you imagine if you walked into the admissions office and started pestering the receptionist about how your application is doing? I wonder, in terms of etiquette, what the worst thing for your chances you could possibly do to the admissions office? Has anyone heard of anyone doing something really awful that destroyed their chances (besides flat-out wrong things like forged materials, etc.)?</p>

<p>… have your mom call and ask how things are going and offer some advice. That’d really leave an impression!</p>
