<p>Hello everybody.</p>

<p>I'm emerging out of lurkdom to ask you guys a question. I probably will get flamed by somebody for it, but I am serious.</p>

<p>Here's my score breakdown:
800 Math
800 CR
780 Writing: 76 Mult, 10 Essay</p>

<p>Will this score hurt my chances anywhere? Please understand that I am applying to some extremely selective schools and scholarships (Princeton, MIT, Robertsons), and I already have strikes against me for being Asian. </p>

<p>On the plus side, here are my ACT and SATII results:
36 Math
34 Reading (36 on the previous attempt)
36 Writing (11 essay)
36 Science </p>

<p>800 US History
800 Math II
800 Physics
800 Bio-M</p>

<p>Do you all think that my scores will keep me out of anywhere, or should I retest the SAT on standby on Saturday?</p>

<p>what would make you think that? You're obviously a pretty bright guy, maybe only booksmart. But what reason would you possibly have for asking this question?</p>

<p>Your scores are all but perfect. It would not be worth the time or money to retest.</p>

<p>Some people on here are just trying to be ostentations. Just ignore them. I don't really trust their scores anyway; after all, this is internet. "OMG I ONLY got a 2380! OMGOMG what should I do!?"</p>

<p>I know a guy a few years ago who got a 1580 (back in the day w/o the writing section), retook it and got a 1600.</p>

<p>So, if you're for real and YOU KNOW FOR SURE THAT YOU'LL GET A 2400, then go ahead and retake it.</p>
