So College Men Study less than College Women?

I think this is individual. From my undergrad experience and from visiting various campuses…there’s more of a correlation between student/campus culture and studying time.

It’s true of high school men and women, why not college?

This is not a well-thought out presentation of the issues, and the argument is too vague and muddled. The one point that resonated most based on my own life experience, is the difference in self-confidence between men and women. Boys are more likely to walk into a classroom as though they belong there and will be named king very shortly. I watched that same attitude make a difference at a summer, school band activity too. The boys carried themselves into that jazz band camp as though they were Miles Davis re-incarnated. The wore what they called their “jazz hats,” and just generally acted like they were each “the man.” Having just seen the placement list from jazz band auditions, I think there was a clear impact of that confidence on the results.
