Basically I sent my SAT I scores already. I'm taking SAT II's this weekend and the score won't come out until after the ED deadline for applications (Nov 1).

I realize colleges will see all the scores eventually. But on the application they want two specific SAT II's that you took or will take. So I won't get to see my scores before I send them (since I won't see them until after the deadline?)

I am just very confused. Thanks for your help.

Please pardon my ignorance, but I've been wondering this for a while now: What exactly does the early decision (ED?) thing mean? Is it important?

The college involved, in its application instructions, will tell you specifically the last test date acceptable. For ED, a number of places even accept November testing. I haven't heard of any place that doesn't accept October testing. Of course, double check.

Azure326, are you being facetious? If not, you can look at the application instructions for the colleges you are considering and this will be explained to you. It is a way of getting an "early decision" from your #1 preferred college ... but you are bound to go if accepted and a reasonable financial package is offered. The acceptance rates for ED are often higher than that for RD (although some wonder if this is due to a higher qualified set of applicants or not).

To be distinguished from EA or SCEA ... but I have to go and can't explain that right now.

"The college involved, in its application instructions, will tell you specifically the last test date acceptable. "

The applications that I looked at did not specify the test dates for Early Acceptance, etc. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think your statement is inaccurate.

Well, I haven't looked at all colleges, of course; there are thousands. But for every college where I HAVE looked, the information has been there.

Which colleges have you found that don't tell you in their instructions? Tell me and I'll look for myself. If I'm wrong, I'll gladly 'fess up. It happens occasionally :)
