I'd really like to get my hands on some previously released ACT tests, but that's turning out to be a bit difficult. I recently picked up Peterson's Ultimate ACT Toolkit (same publisher as the Real ACT) and it was absolutely terrible; nothing like the real thing. So what book out there offers the closest thing to real ACTs? I don't really care about review material, just practice tests.

You could try the ACT's online prep. I don't know if the tests from the book and the tests online are the same though. And on their website they have a free practice test.

Do the tests in Cracking the ACT. They're really close to the real ones.

I used the book you can purchase from the ACT website. I took one practice test (to get familiar with the format and to see how I did) from it, and it was definitely very similar to the real thing.

mcraw-hill's 10 real act tests is great, as is princeton review act book

^MC Hill's are filled with errors
