so, once the approval letters start coming...

how do you (or did you) make a final decision about which college to pick?

finances, location, best fit. I loved all of the schools I was accepted to, but after the novelty of being accepted wore off, I picked what would be most practical for my family and I. I think in some cases it is easier to choose than others, but you won't know that until after you've been accepted...

Well if you're like alot of people on CC you'll come running to the boards and post "I got into x, y, z, where should i go?!?!" and rely on anonymous people to make your decision :) . Nothing against asking for advice on choosing...but it seems more and more often that people are relying completely on CC posters for their decision. Or you can do what wannabazn88 said--go with finances, location, fit. think back to why you applied to that school and if it still applies, consider that. my choice came down to two schools that i really really loved.

I made a pros/cons list for each one and compared.

Finances :)

I really liked all of my schools, so it came down to comparing aid offers. I enrolled at Wake (almost full scholarship) but withdrew after Duke upped my offer.
