So princeton has its own teacher eval form.. which to use?

Commonapp says Princeton fully supports the commonapp teacher eval, and no distinction be made between it and college's own form.

I guess i kinda answered my question, but i'm kinda paranoid. can someone quickly confirm if i can just use the common app eval?

Yes, you can, and that's what I did. I chose it because there are more boxes/categories for the teacher to evaluate you on at the end of the form. Minor difference, I know, but anything helps.

I picked Princeton's own papers. Not only am I a big fan of the colour orange, but also it does have more information (And the more the merrier) as was noted by the previous poster.

Sorry, Jacquesier, you must have misread what I said. I meant that the common app had more info; he asked if it was alright to use the common app, i said yes, and then elaborated. Princeton does ask two questions as opposed to the common app's one that teachers can respond to, but there are more boxes on the common app from what i remember.

so DO schools make distinctions? i'm in the same situation with NYU. They have their own form, which provides more info (like, how much the teacher/counselor knows about NYU). But yet on top of the common app, in bold, states that no distinctions will be made between it and school specific forms

or do adcoms have a bias towards their own?

bump this up

Well any college that wants to be on the common app has to sign a statement pledging that no preference will be given to their own form or the common form. With that said, it's anyone's guess whether the admissions people will have a bias. I used the Princeton form for three reasons: I liked the choice of essay topics, I liked the teacher rec questions more, and I liked the orange color.
