So students use backpacks at all in college?

When I walk from class to class, I hold all of my books in one hand, my notebooks and pens in my other, I slip my water bottle into my bra and all of my pants pockets are stuffed with my wallet, my cellphone, and certain other things a woman might want to carry around.

I hope you're joking.

^obviously.

usually going to classes most don't, if the classes are spread out. but people do use backpacks, mostly when they have to go to the library/go somewhere else to do work. you aren't going to carry your laptop around by itself...

i wear one

dont feel right without it

Less than half? From what I saw at my colleges, maybe 95% had a bag of some kind.

I think Moose meant that maybe 50% of the students at his/her college are using a backpack as opposed to tote bags or messenger bags.

You would think so, but I've seen it many times unfortunately.

That's interesting.

at least 95% of people at my college have some kind of bag to carry around during the day. i have a big marc jacobs tote that i cna throw my books and everything into. even some guys when they dont have a lot of classes will carry one of those draw string gym backpack bag things with their notebook or water or whatever.

i think i only didnt use some kind of bag twice all year. once was during finals first semester..
