So tell me about Professor Terence Tao...

I was surfing through Mathematics site, and I saw a face of a typical UCLA student... only to find out that he is actually a professor.

What started out as trying to figure out his age ended up me reading through his life... and that got me stunned.

Taking university-level math at the age of 9... getting a score of 760 on Math section of SAT at the age of 8... getting a Ph.D in Princeton University at the age of 20... and becoming a prof. at UCLA at the age of 24...

One thing I want to do is to be taught under such amazing professor, and suddenly I really want to attend UCLA (that's if I get admitted) after reading his profile. I'm sure there are other great profs besides him, but he's just too great to skip out.

Those of you who's heard of or taken his class, can you tell me if there is anything special or unique about his teaching style and how he is overally different from the others (if he is)?

I had Prof. Tao for Math 33A. He was great at helping with the homework assignments because he did sample problems upon student request whenever there was time left at the end of lecture, but his writing isn't very legible. He was also the last Mathematics professor I ever had who let us bring cue cards to midterms and finals.
