so..tell me the truth and tell me now..

It’s ok smiles :).

And I also love how Columbia probably asked him for his SAT IIs and he still thought that he did everything. Besides, there probably are several others who applied to the IVYs from his school…did he never discuss this type of things (like we so often do)? :P

Doesn’t your s/n translate roughly to “weirdo” in Latin?

^lol are you kidding? I remember there were a couple CCers who correctly translated my screen name :).

Not kidding. After looking it up you were probably going for doom/fate, but “weird” is an off-hand definition. I’ve never studied Latin or anything; I just remember seeing the word in that context before.

^haha wow I didn’t know that! Well, weird describes me quite nicely too. ;)

Hey Fatum. Just thought I’d throw in my two cents. I’m an Asian girl from Canada too, applying to HYPPSQIUDI67(whatever the hell the acronym is) and quite honestly I’ve driven myself into pretty bad bouts of depression reading chance threads on CC and have never made one of my own because I know it’s just going to **** me off.

Why worry about it? 37 days left, what YOU or anyone else thinks of your chances isn’t going to make a difference, so do things that will. Work on Canadian scholarship apps or something. The kind people on CC are going to say the same thing, and the jerks (like chelsearox) are just wasting your time and theirs.

Best wishes for March 30th =)

^ agreed!

HYPPSQIUDI67 … haha :D

That Ivy Dreams documentary on Youtube makes me feel absolutely horrible :/

I’m an Asian student as well and I can’t believe I’ll be experiencing that kind of tension in a little over a month :(

I enjoyed the documentary. Although yeah it was pretty stressing to watch them open emails …

haha. I love the fact that every Asian person on CC has seen those.

I was personally a bit miffed by Diana’s response…“Oh no…Harvard…why did I get in”. Seriously? C’mon. -__-

hehe and I don’t understand why they all had their parents there when they checked for decisions…I mean I personally would just do it secretly…almost…probably. lol

They’re a buncha noobs. Real asians stay up till 1:00 in the morning to check their scores ;)
