<p>I just submitted my apps and I wanted to know what the next couple of months will be like. Will the update in January involve more than just updating your grades? </p>
<p>And after that, when will I start getting decisions? Will I hear anything before March?</p>
<p>Some schools require an update, others don't. I remember that Berkeley engineering requires an update, but none of the other UCs do.</p>
<p>So basically, you just wait around while the anxiety kills you slowly. Some UCs will send you an email about activating a status account. Notifications vary from school to school. I believe that UCB is the last one to release admission statements.</p>
