So, what day are decisions released (ED)?

Good luck everyone!

CALLED IT!!!
(and yes I did make my prediction before I got the email)

Does this mean they have already made their decision???

Most likely, yes.

They have. Called the admissions officer the other day to settle a question about my app and they transferred me to an officer, who was looking at my application and mentioned that I already had a decision attached to my file. When she said that my heart stopped for a second…this is it guys

I’m getting so nervous for a letter of denial (or deferral, I guess), it’s unsettling

You see they cannot tell you the exact date in case some unexpected technology issues or mail issues arise, but I would expect the 14th. They’ll let you know probably 2 days before if it is to come out early.

So how does this work on thursday? Do we just log on to the portal and our decision is right there? or a certain tab or something? I know, stupid question… but it would be nice to know!

@10bio10 pretty much!

hi, i know that many people received the mail notification about the exact date to release the decision. But, I didn’t receive any. Is it mean I have already been rejected??

If you applied ED, make sure you log on into your portal and everything is submitted. Then, check your spam folders. Even if you weren’t going to be admitted from Duke, you should still receive a notification.

Last year, for RD decisions, the first page after you logged-in was replaced with the decision letter (so, one of the tabs in the portal).

Has anyone been on the Duke Portal today? The check list showing what has been completed is gone and it says ‘Application Decision Group – Early Admission Decision–you do not have any to-do’s at this time’.

^ Just went on, mine says the same thing under “My Application”.

Having a snow day today adds to the difficulty of waiting, as I have to keep myself busy to avoid constantly thinking about two days from now.
