Hey guys,
Just wondering if i planned on getting a pol sci major and just doing pre med in college, what jobs could i get that dont necessarily involve law school?
or what jobs can i get that involve law school that dont involve being a lawyer..? eek, I really love politics and history and stuff, but my parents dont think that "law" is for me.. because according to my dad im not bold enough or manipulative enough to be a lawyer.. but i mean thats only like criminal law and stuff right or is it the cut throat stuff in law school, period? so basically, does everyone that goes to law school become a lawyer or is there other stuff that you can do?

become a poli sci professor! or get a deep understanding of poli sci and work for government! people who graduate from law school do various things besides being lawyers... u could look into corporate law.. basically you write statements(I think) etc. for a corporation.. u dont actually go into a court room and act like.. 'a lawyer'.

What are your job options of you get a poli sci mayor and you don't wanna be stuck doing small government jobs? I'm really interested in becoming a delegate or some other job that has to do with the UN or UNICEF, I'm just not 100% sure if there are any special courses or a specific field of poli sci that I'd have to enroll in.

confidential is right. Don't think lawyer and see yourself necesarily in court. So I wouldn't completely rule out lawyer if I were you; law school gives you a lot of options
