I was reading information and statistics about Princeton in this Private Universities & Colleges magazine that was sent to me, and in the Princeton section, it said that only 48 states were represented. What states aren't represented? I was just curious. :)

There is a map available on the Princeton admissions website that says for the class of 2014, there are no students from North Dakota or Kansas.

Well, that’s sad.

How many people even live in ND?

I don’t think New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, or Virginia were represented last year.

I am in West Virginia this year (as a foreign student) and I bet there are not a lot of student in Princeton that came from WV haha:)

Instant key to acceptance: Move to North Dakota. Geographic diversity, yo!

This might be of help.
[Number of Students in the Class of 2014 by Geographic Region](http://www.princeton.edu/admission/applyingforadmission/admission_statistics/map.htm)

Well I’m a Pakistani studying in United Arab Emirates and I was a bit surprised that NONE of the countries I just mentioned were in the Class of 2014, does that increase my chances? ;p Also I’m the first one to apply from my school to such a place. :D

Ahem… I’m from North Dakota Yeah there are like 600,000 of us or so…

Montana checking in here…975,000 of us…4 in 2010 freshman class at Pton. Increased from just 1 the year before…will see if “diversity” helps this WM on Wednesday…:)

CT here… 48th in size but 5th in number of students in class of 2014:)

Woohoo we have the most of anywhere! Lack of geographic diversity ftw.

That’s a cool map! I’m from Nevada, I’m not all too surprised that there are only 3 students. Our education system is pretty shoddy. Like really shoddy. I think we’re something like 49th in the nation… -_-
