I'm curious to see who else hasn't heard so much as a peep from Stern... anyone care to share their stats, please?

I'll go first.

Location: GA
Status: Green card pending, so sort of international but not
GPA: 3.5 U / 3.9 W
SAT: 1430/2160
Applied to CAS in late October, then switched to Stern in December, then sent in a letter detailing an extra EC in January
Did not apply for financial aid
Might be accepted, but leaning toward "no" due to weak GPA

The “acceptances” received right now are merely invitations to a program NYU is hosting in April for accepted students. Getting an invitation means you are almost guaranteed admission. Not getting an invite does not mean you will not get rejected.

^^^
Actually the letter says "Congratulations! I am very pleased to inform you that your offer of admission letter to New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business is on its way to you. On Behalf of Presiden John Sexton and the faculty and staff of Stern, I warmly welcome you to the class of 2013…so getting the invite states that you are admitted not getting one doesn’t mean you’re not.
