Social Life

I was wondering for people attenting UCD as freshmen is it easy to meet cool people. And also, how are the parties and girls. I live in socal but am interested in UCD, because it appears to be the UC most balanced between work and play.
Since I just moved as a senior recently I do not think I get state residency so what are my chances for OOS?

Maybe try to bring up the writing score dude. Other than that you look good. UCD is off the hook. I have never been bored yet. In fact a few times I have passed out from being tired and missed out on things I wanted to attend :)

Great parties, awesome sports, the ARC, good food, amazing classes. I love it here! You should come for a visit. The dorms are all pretty social, you will have no trouble meeting people. Join a frat too so you can work hard, and play harder.

I forgot to mention the freshman girls are hot, hot, hot!

Do you have to be involved in the greek system to be active in the social scene or no?

lol no, there are a lot of awesome people that are not in frats. Dun worry about having to join a frat.

agreed...but meet a few sorority girls.

yea man the social scene here is great - easy to meet awesome people and u can have fun every nite - once u learn how to balance good times with ur studies!

yeah I called admissions and they said I'd be considered as a resident

You're definately in. Don't worry about it.
