To what lengths do colleges go to when it comes to verifying all your social media pages are appropriate? I understand that they may run a quick search of your full name on various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) but are any private pages or posts a red flag? Or do admissions officers really not care?
They don’t have time to check social media pages, in general. That doesn’t mean it never happens. I have also heard that they are more likely to look at social media if there has been disciplinary action.
