<p>Sorry i moved this. It was in another post but I wanted to get more replies.</p>
<p>I am currently a freshmen at Colgate, and all though I mostly love it, I am dissatisfied with the night life. It seems the ONLY thing to do on a Friday/Saturday night is drink. I know that happens at most colleges, but Gate seems extreme. I'm down with partying occasionally, like maybe once a week, but at colgate it seems like the only form of entertainment on weekends.
Is Hamilton the same way? If it isn't I would be somewhat interested in transferring.</p>
<p>You are so close to Hamilton, why not go there a few weekends and see what is going on, although I don't think you are going to find much of a difference. I visited both schools and like Hamilton alot better for reasons other than you are questioning. Let's face it, both schools are out in the middle of no where and the average kid will be doing the same at both schools. The only thing I though Colgate had going for it over Hamilton was the size of the town, but I don't think that is going to make much of a difference on a Saturday night.</p>
