Socially Awkward and Nerdy Guys

^Stalin would’ve loved Carnegie’s ruthlessness, though. They’d drink tea and discuss the joy of screwing people over.

But knowing Stalin, Carnegie would get his head blown off in two seconds if he didn’t follow in Stalin’s footsteps. And Carnegie won’t. He’d lose a lot of money and would not deal with Stalin’s corporate BS rules.

But Stalin followed communism more than Lenin. Stalin got ***ed when Lenin started his New Economic Policy and allowed some private marketing. *BEEP Against communistic principles! Marx rolls in the grave. Stalin abolished NEP in two seconds after Lenin got f-ed by Grim Reaper.

Stalin would DEFINITELY mind Carnegie’s monopoly. Stalin was all about centralized economy, and the last thing he wants is a dude who worships privatized marketing.

So… About drinking tea… Carnegie would walk away 2 feet shorter lol. But Stalin would definitely love his ruthlessness.

Carnegie was nicer than Rockefeller, though. I don’t know, he seemed to soften up in old age.

<<carnegie was=“” nicer=“” than=“” rockefeller,=“” though.=“” i=“” don’t=“” know,=“” he=“” seemed=“” to=“” soften=“” up=“” in=“” old=“” age.=“”>> Yeah, he did. Became a generous ■■■■■■■ who donated most of his money.</carnegie>

Have you guys seen that photo that looks like JP Morgan holding a dagger? Morgan was way d*****er than Rockefellar or Carnegie

he didn’t even found a university (to my knowledge)

EDIT: btw, Jay Gould was the worst haha what a scam artist

Well, JP Morgan was just a ------. He doesn’t even count.

[File:JP Morgan.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](File:JP Morgan.jpg - Wikipedia)

hahaha what a beast!!!

I’m in disbelief that this topic has now led to a discussion on the Gilded Age and Robber Barons.

K have to ask this…

Do girls hate chess players or what? Chess has a very nice attraction with Nerdy doesn’t it? Oh well they’d rather go after that quarterback than a freakin’ 15 year old chess master (prodigy) lol.

I don’t think that there are that many chess players anymore. The chess players of the middle-to-late twentieth century are now the video game/D&D nerds.

Dude, chicks totally dig chess players.

Jay Gould…= Stephen Jay Gould? Or am I thinking of someone else…

In my book chess players = win. Although, I’m horrible at it, atm.

Yeah? When I get in Emory next year (in, in a chariot ride during a DREAM) I’ll challenge you to a chess game. Why, I did some research and it said Emory has a strong chess team! Or maybe that was a few years ago, don’t remember.

Me = plays in a bunch of chess tournaments and won a bunch of money. Not that cool. I’m just “good” not “great” or “very good.” I get beat a lot. When I play masters I get f-ed in less than 30 moves but when I play average players they get shot down in flames. Not cool. Totally not cool.

Girls like guys with fun personalities and good looks. Guys want the same thing in girls. They don’t care a whole lot about what you do in your free time or whatever.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Emory DOES have a chess team.

And sure, you can play me. Although you’re going to win easily.

Real people play D&D?

Jay Gould partnered with Fisk in an attempt to corner the gold market, creating the panic of Black Friday. In addition to other things that I don’t remember.

Stephen Jay Gould is a biologist, I think.

My 7 year old brother beat me in chess.

But in my defense, he read this chess strategy book beforehand…

<<My 7 year old brother beat me in chess.

But in my defense, he read this chess strategy book beforehand… >>

If you wanna beat him, read “Complete Book of Chess Strategy” by International Master Jeremy Silman. I used to play during weekends against a bunch of adults to hone my skills. I got beat like crazy until I read that book. It’s incredible, dude. Best chess book ever.

Also, if you get to intermediate level, read “Reasses Your Chess” by Silman. That book takes like 10 hours to read 10 pages, but the work you put in is worth it. Average players can go bye bye after you go through all those training. They’re done for.

NOTE: Reading a chess book is more boring than reading a math book if you’re not interested in the game. It’s really, really complicated and requires a lot of thinking and patience.

One or two of my friends play it.

<<one or=“” two=“” of=“” my=“” friends=“” play=“” it.=“”>> You know if they play online? Are they tournament level players or just casual?</one>
