As of now, I'm in a rut between taking sociology or cognitive science for my social science GE. In your opinion what sounds more interesting, studying the present society or studying how we think and technology? There's more to it to the classes than that, but its the gist.
If you guys could tell the ups and downs of each class, it would help A LOT. For example, which class would have more writing? Which might be easier?

Side note: Is it bad to have two days jammed packed of four classes and one day with only one class? Currently thats what I have.

Oh yeah, by the looks of it Sociology seems to be really popular since there's like already 7 or 8 waitlisted classes. I'm already signed up for one btw.

well, i'm guessing there's more writing in sociology, since cognitive science is mainly...well...a science. i personally like cognitive science better, as it's very inter-disciplinary and i just think the mind is cool, but you should just do whatever is more interesting to you....

yeah i think i might consider coginitive science. on ratemyprofessors.com people say the sociology teacher is really really boring and the material isnt all that interesting. they also say there's a whole bunch of boring reads. the cognitive science teacher is said to be fun, likes to review a lot, is pretty (haha, that made me laugh), and is helpful. that sold me... unless someone can tell me otherwise.
