I was wondering if anyone here has applied to Roosevelt University Chicago
I'm wondering how they feel about homeschoolers.

I know someone who was very unhappy in high school in Chicago last year and left to home school for senior year. In addition to home schooling, she took a course at Roosevelt in one of her favorite subjects and got a "B". She was admited as a full time student this year. Her ACT scores were high/average for Roosevelt.
Hope this helps!

Thanks so much! Did she have a regular homeschool diploma or had to get a diploma from the school district or had to have a GED?

I think Illinois is much like Texas. In Illinois there is no requirement to let anyone know you are homeschooling, no necessary contact with education authorities or testing requirements. Home schools are treated like private schools, which are unregulated here.
I think the family just said she had completed high school and provided a reading list or transcript. Home schoolers can print out a nice diploma if they wish!
But the best course is to contact the admissions office at schools you are interested in directly and ask.
