Some decisions out!

@mandyruce - Frankly I don’t know much on either of the places!!

^ These posts might help though!! :)

Both the places have their own pros & cons!!

Seeing so many competant students streaming into Drexel I think a shot at the Global Scholarship is drifiting furthur away. Though I think that this is the first time that drexel is giving a full scholarship but does anyone has any knowledge to let me know how many people actually end up getting the scholarship and their scores, GPA? Is it only reserved for the international students?

Global Scholarships are only for International students! :D

And I think it can be anything up to a full tuition scholarship!! Though I have no idea as to how many people get it!!

I think global scholarships are only full tuition scholarships. Not less than that. The Drexel webpage says that these scholarships will go to a limited number of international students!!

Does anyone know when Drexel will sent out new decisions? thanks!
P.S. congrats to all! :D

^ If Drexel follows the same trend, the next wave of decisions should be on 6th March!! Good Luck!!

ow…that’s lonnnngggg…but nobody can really do anything…so…congrats to SAT456 and all the others who got in…and good luck to the rest of us who still await!

@Klig123: relax buddy, youll make it :)

Thanks lolface849! But what im worried about is my CR section…i have a 640 in math but a 440 in CR…at least i got to back it up with a decent toefl score of 94 and a GPA of 3.7 from a non english speaking high school which is a bit soothing…but still…

Where are you from?

from Greece…!

Hi guys, congratulations to all who got in! So did I, I’m soooo cheerful. I was awarded an A.J. scholarship and I am wondering if its only a first year-scholarship or is it renewable?

Renewable, as long as you maintain a 3.0 GPA:

Yeah…I’m pretty sure that my decision is coming late because I didn’t make the prerequisite for my first choice major (but I’m 100% positive that I made the prerequisite for my second choice). Anyways, I think my stats are alright  SAT: 1810 ACT: 27 GPA: 3.5 and some varsity sports/other academic ec’s.
I’m just waiting! XD

What was your first choice major? I think your stats are good. I don’t know if there is any rhyme or reason how the decisions are coming out. Scholarship $ amounts vary drastically, all different types of majors, different parts of the country, different types of applications and submitted dates etc. Some accepted some deferred etc.

Just got in with a $26,000 AJ Scholarship–turned in my application right before the deadline.

It doesn’t say anything about honors on the decision portal. Not to be cocky, but I have a 4.0, a 2350 SAT score, tons of leadership, etc. and I was honestly expecting to get in… Did we have to apply separately for the honors program or what?

Are you sure it doesn’t say it there? Look again.

I’m pretty sure everyone who gets the AJ Drexel Scholarship gets into honors, so it’s probably a mistake if it’s not there. There was no separate application.

I got in  and received the AJ Drexel Scholarship for $11,000

Just accepted.
3.1 uw gpa, 2010 SAT
SAT II : 710 Bio E, 710 US History

Chem, 29 ACT, 10 APs, top 8%. Applied at deadline. 18,500 AJ Drexel Schol. Backup school. Likely will attend Michigan.
