I’m not sure why NMH doesn’t get a lot of love on CC but it is an excellent school with terrific teachers, a great campus, and a warm feeling some other schools can’t match. It also has rolling admission…hint, hint!

Also, does anyone know how to cut and paste a link here to boarding schools with great rolling admissions/and or financial aid? I understand in Canada they have rolling admissions. Not to far from New Hampshire for Neato…I also a second look at NMH, which has rolling admissions. I think this one can be a great jewel that is often overlooked on CC…Ahh, now there is another thread. “Great schools often overlooked here.” I like SevenDad’s instead of referring to schools as tiers, how about “just more famous.”

Unfortunately, rolling admissions does not necessarily mean rolling financial aid. It is the very unusual case where FA funds remain available after March 10.

Having been down this path last year with my own family, I can tell you that I found many, many wonderful schools willing to take late applications (including several well known schools that do not advertise “rolling admissions”), but of perhaps a dozen schools, only one was willing to go even as far as “maybe” with regard to the possibility of FA funds being available and even that depended on how the dust settled on April 10. In the end, even that school ended up having no funds available.

Does that mean it’s impossible? No, but one is going to have to look far and wide to find those schools that still have funds available . . . or just be very, very lucky!

Neato,
I’m so sorry, and i’m sorry about my PM which I sent before reading any of your daughter’s results, must have sounded bad…
Hope you are all hanging in there.
I agree with others, communicate, and if you have a number one, tell them that.
I do know of a few kids who have been taken off waitlists and given FA. It DOES happen!
