<p>^If the firm recruits at the school, there is no difference. To the extent that it doesn't, what matters is if the firm still has a resume drop at the school for positions or if you need to contact alums at the firm for a chance at an interview. </p>
<p>For at least the top 10 IBs, they probably recruit at all the Ivies and of the LACs, maybe only fully Williams and Amherst. Therefore, lower LACs like Bowdoin, Middlebury, Colgate, Hamilton may only have some to a few of the top banks recruit on campus; requiring candidates from those schools to be more proactive and resourceful in procuring interviews.</p>
