Some students blame high MBA debt loads blamed on the "MBA lifestyle"

...Some students also blame the “MBA lifestyle.” As student blogger, known as “No Debt MBA.” recently noted, “One of the frustrating things about being in business school is that students here don’t act or spend like students a lot of the time.
My son just graduated with an MBA from a very well known school. You wouldn’t believe how these kids traveled on breaks and on weekends. My son was one of only a few of his friends who had never been to Asia. I finally met his roommate after two years because every time that I visited my son his roommate was either in the Caribbean or on his way home from some extended vacation. And he wasn’t the exception. Never mind that the students were always going out during the week and to bars on weekends. I couldn’t believe that all of these families were so wealthy. But my son said that many of his friends had very high paying jobs before they were in the MBA program and could well afford to travel on their own money.
