<p>blueberaptor, no need to insult other posters. And not all of them are students… from your post, it looks like you haven’t even been through the admissions process yet. The OP has very poor chances at the colleges on his list. There is no reason not to apply to a few of them as reaches, but he is going to be very unhappy next spring if he doesn’t add more match and safety schools.</p>
<p>@TechBusiPerson If you don’t want to hear what other people have to say then why create this thread? It is not all about test scores. You have a low GPA for those schools and very very few ECs. You might have a shot, but odds are you won’t get into almost all of those schools.</p>
<p>Naviance is good, sitting down with your counselor is even better. I think the whole ‘chance’ thing on this website is a little silly. All of these schools use holistic evaluation procedures. However, I will say that you need to do research on each individual school, finance vs. CS.</p>
<p>For example, CS school at CMU is something like <5% admit rate for males. I doubt UCB is too much higher. Both these schools want to see a really strong GPA. No piece of cake to get in for business either, but CS is just ridiculously popular right now.</p>
