This is my first time posting so sorry if I broke any rules or did anything wrong...

Here are some stats:

Trying to apply to the schools of engineering at these universities.

What do you think are my chances at those schools?

please help and thanks

UCLA: match
UC San Diego: match
UC Berkeley: low reach but doable
USC: reach

Your chances look pretty good for all of these colleges. Of course, some are harder than others to get into. Your grades and SAT score look pretty good. Good luck with everything and chance me back!

UCLA is almost the same as Berkeley for out-of-state so reach for both

UCSD: Match
USC: High match

Thank you both, I also forgot to mention that I attended the very selective Summer Residential Governor’s school for Math, Science and Tech last summer (paid for by VA gov’t) if that matters at all

lol you will get into all. Hold me accountable. You will probably get in. Do not retake your ACT. What’s the point? You already have a pretty high SAT scores, enough to get in to the best UC which is UCB. Unless you wanna apply for the Stanfords or the Harvards, I really do not see the point. If you don’t get in it will probably be because of the fact that ur out of state, not because ur not good enough.
