Someone who wants to major in Business/Econ

How does this list look like?

University of Pennsylvania (Business)
Columbia University (Economics/Operations Research)
Harvard College (Economics)
M.I.T. (Management Science/Finance)
Stanford University (Economics)
Amherst College (Economics)
Northwestern University (Economics)
Cornell University (Applied Economics and Management)
Georgetown University (Finance, International Business)
New York University (Business)
Carnegie Mellon University (Business)
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (Business)
University of Virginia (Economics)

I know these are competitives but I wish to know if this list is reasonable (forget about all the stats). If too many, what would you recommend for someone who wants to pursue a future career as a management consultant and major in Finance/Managment (International Business). What other schools would you recommend?

What a fantastic, all-star lineup-Pretty good.

you might add

U of Chicago (economics)
Berkeley (Business/economics)
Princeton (economics/Woody Woo economic policy)

middlebury is also pretty good in economics.

I also thought of UChicago but its curriculum and the essays kill me..Berkeley..I don't feel the attraction..Princeton..awesome economics program but I don't like how the students at Princeton don't get along with each other

Williams is conspicuously absent. Having said that, this is a VERY top-heavy list. I and many parents here would urge you to make sure to have a safety that you could live with.
