Soo.. college interview

Can’t you go to Target and get a $7-$8 pair? LOL at painting your shoes.

Just checked target’s site.

Cheapest red boots are $25. I found some that would be perfect for slightly more at $30.

Not paying $30 for boots i will never wear again.

Red gloves were $11.

O wow, that’s a bummer:/ Hmm…maybe you could check your local Halloween store? I would just wear your costume then, that’s what matters. Best of luck with your interview!:)

haha halloween stores are notorious for being expensive. mom wanted to pick hers out yesterday- they’re all like $70+ without accessories included.

I’ll figure something out. Thanks though! : )

Are you serious? Wow, that’s insane. There has to be a pair of boots for less than that.

It could be a good idea and make you look fun and unique. It may also make you look silly, unprofessional and inappropriate. Really depends on the luck of the interviewer you get. Perhaps you should also consider what you stand to gain by coming in a costume versus what you stand to lose.

^ i honestly don’t think itll be a bad thing. the school, harvey mudd, as you know, attracts nerdy kids and they want them to be unique with a sense of humor… not the typical 2400 sat 4.0 computer-person nerd.

Also i toured they’re last weekend and all the staff were reallyyyy nice.

yellow or pink skirt for ms. pacman? haha

and i only have a pink/red skirt but its a miniskirt soo… i could just get some fabric or something from joans

I would go with pink:)

efff… mom doesn’t want to take me to get a costume now haha. i need to find an idea that i can put together at home thats still nerdy, unique, and funny.

And no i’m not going to be an integral haha. (thats what my friend suggested)

Hmm…do you have any old costumes that you could put together?

nope. last year i was an angel. i dont know where that even is…

Try being the state of Florida.

An interview on Halloween? I’m jealous. We have senior Halloween at my school; all the seniors dress up and there’s a costume competition. My friend and I are being grammar cops. I think a school might appreciate that.

^Wow, I’ve never heard of that before, awesome!
^^Lol, that is definitely unique…I’m not sure how she would portray that though.

It depends on whether they get the reference.

yeah… they might just think im a regular cop. which isnt creative.

my friend suggested being a ghost buster… not sure how id pull that off/ if it would look that great being in baggy clothes

Lol, I don’t think that would work. Maybe you could be a 60’s or 80’s person? That’s always easy to do with the material within one’s house.

^yeah but id rather wear a nice outfit than something thats so cliche.

Nerdy and funny is what im going for. : )

That’s not what I was referring to.
