Sophie Davis Admission

First off I'm only becoming a freshman at high school for health professions and human services this fall, and I've become highly interested in sophie davis. I'm hoping that planning my goals beforehand would give me more opportunities and a greater chance in getting into Sophie Davis since it is challenging to get in.

And because many of you are attending/graduated/gotten accepted to this college it would be an amazing help if you can provide me information that would help in setting goals for admission such as: what gpa and sat/act score should I aim for, what kind of volunteering should I do, what programs (like Bridge to Medicine) should I join, clubs/extracurricular activities/events to participate, regent grades to aim for and any other things to work on.

It would also be great, if you don't mind, to post your gpa, volunteering work, extra curricular activities, sat/act scores, regent scores, etc. you've gotten into sd with.

Also if you are familiar with high school for Health professions, what programs do they have that are very useful for admissions to sd?

If you can give any feedback it would be greatly appreciated! :)

you can certainly look up a lot of information at the CCNY website, OP. Here’s the avg stats for admitted students for 2013:

Lots more info available there.

As for students on CC who are familiar with Sophie Davis, I don’t know of any here. Did you get any hits the last time you asked? Have you tried the CCNY forum?

Thanks for the link! And actually I havent because I’ve just started here, thank you for the reference.
