So far? Wake Forest. Then UNC, if it weren't next to impossible to get into from out of state.

i don't know, i stress out daily, pretty much.

Columbia (who knows if i could get in)

NYU

USC

Georgetown

U of M (a last resort, really.)

Babson, Tufts, Bentley, GW, Colorado University, Northwestern

That is if you study in the US. But for those who stay in Colombia, my first option is Los Andes

I think you are all very optimistic....those are the tipical universities that everybody wants to get in..and not everybody can!!

NYU, Boston College, Columbia, Boston University
what a pesimist vvargas....... most people think that its really hard but because we are foreign students we can get in much easier.

I'm an east coast babe, and specifically, I love the Northeast scene (i.e. Boston, Providence)

So, unrealistically, I'd love Yale and Brown. Yale's got an amazing newspaper, and Brown is so indie-cool, like myself. But, despite minority status and legacies to both, who am I kidding? I'm probably not getting in. But that won't stop me from applying!

I think Wesleyan is the perfect school for me. It's the 'Brown rejects school', but I'd have a hard time deciding even if I were to get into Brown. It seems really fresh and has a cool vibe, and although the paper sucks, it's really high up on the lists and stuff. So although I tell people I'm aiming for Yale and Brown, I'd really just be happy to go to Wes.

I also like Bates, Reed (way in oregon though!), Bennington, and Northeastern.

Um, yeah, to the poster above my other post, I've never heard of any schools (except the cruddy ones) where it's easier for foreigners to get in. It's usually harder because English is not their first language and their SAT scores aren't as good. This obviously doesn't apply to everyone, but for a large portion.

Certain:
1. Penn (Wharton)
2. MIT Sloan
3. NYU Stern
4. Michigan
5. Carnegie-Mellon
6. Harvard

Undecided:
1. UChicago
2. Vanderbilt
3. Georgetown
4. Cornell

And of course, Rutgers as my safety.

tufts, penn, brown (not happening), mcgill (really quite a safety, but cmon, under $4k tuition? canada? +++)

and i'd disagree with princessbell, being a foreigner is much like being a URM, colleges will want you the slightest bit more cause you can add to the diversity...

UC Santa Cruz

Harvard, Yale, UPenn, Barnard...Tufts as safety
