Hi everyone, you all have really high goals, which is great. I hope you all get in where you want. Here are my choice schools.

I'm a math/science/computers nerd (and proud of it), so my reach schools are obvious:
1. MIT (I'll do anything to get in, such as I didn't sleep for four nights straight cramming for my Calc BC, AP Physics, and AP Computers exams, it paid off though and I didn't die)
2. Caltech (I'll do just about anything to get in)
3. Harvard (I don't know how great the engineering program is, but come on, it's HARVARD)
4. Harvey Mudd
5. University of Chicago

Now, more realistically, here are my targets:
1. Carnegie Mellon
2. WPI
3. UC Berkeley
4. UCLA

Here's my real problem: I don't know of any good (preferebly Tech-oriented) safety schools. Any suggestions?
(And yes, I am going to apply to all the schools I listed plus a few safeties. I'm a sophomore but already saving up the money for the appication fees).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, oh and by the way, MIT just posted up their admission stats for the incoming class on this web site: my.mit.edu

Yale (1st choice)
Stanford (2nd choice)
Penn (tied for 2nd)
Duke in-state (tied for 2nd if i get $, 3rd if i don't)
Wellesley (4th)
UChicago (tied for 3rd)
UNC-Chapel Hill in-state (safety)

I sooo wanna go to Yale but I have an unweighted GPA of 3.8 which sucks :/

Harvard(financial aid is big for my house income which is less than $30,000)

CalTech/ MIT

Northwestern

Carnegie Mellon

University of Chicago

University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign/ Illinois Institute of Technology

Yeah. I kind of drop my expectations big times after CalTech. Either way I would be happy at any of those although I really like the top ones better.

Harvard University (economics or political science)

NYU - Stern - (finance)

UMich - Ross - (finance)

Georgetown SFS - (Some international relations major. Probably something with specialization in Europe, South America, or the Middle East)

etc.

I want to major in either finance, economics, political science, or international relations and become and an investment banker, lawyer, or foreign service officer. Maybe all three! lol.
