Sopranos Series Finale

Great ending, or greatest ending?

um it was awful. probably one of the worst show ending ive ever seen.

I'd put even $ that you didn't watch the previous seven seasons...this show has never had clean and dry endings, never. It made people think for once (god forbid!!) and didn't need to build up to some dramatic/unrealistic event. The first episode of the series "pops in" during a normal day, and the last episode "pops out" during a normal day. It's just a glimpse into the life of the Soprano family....

Um ive seen and own every season on dvd.

totally agree lax- it was a great ending. lesser shows have series finales where the creator feels obligated to a. give viewers closure, and set in stone what is going to happen and b. end with some kind of shock value (such as if tony soprano was shown shot at the end). but these endings are unrealistic and take away from the depth of writing and characters.

brilliant.

I thought it was perfect. There was no other way to end it.

i personally hated it. i cant stand not knowing what happened to the characters i have followed for years. im not the type that wishes to leave the ending to the imagination; i would much rather know like most people i have encountered.
