I know the recommended gpa for rush is a 3.0. Do I have a chance with a 2.7 gpa?
When you complete the application, I believe you can put in an explanation for a lower GPA. Some houses may be fine with it given an explanation. Sorority commitments take-up a lot of time, and they want to make sure you can also keep up with your studies. Also Google University of Arizona sorority rush and you should get to the website page with the link to the application. Applications open 8/1. Good luck
To add to this, I’ve heard that it is unfortunately very difficult to get a bid with below a 3.0 GPA. Like Maystarmom said, yes you can send in an explanation but this is for extenuating circumstances (death in the family, etc). Keep in mind that cuts after the first round of recruitment are largely based on GPA. Having rec letters and being a legacy are things that might help. Also, applications actually close on 8/1, not open! Applications have been open for a bit now. Hope this helps
