I believe that I can get my GPA up to a 3.7 UW and a 3.85W by the end of JR year
My school is pretty top notch, and doesn't allow underclassmen to take a ton of honors/ap courses
By the end of JR year I will have taken 6 Honors and 2 AP courses
Lowest Grades- Spanish II (B-) Art (B+) and Geometry Honors (B+)
I did raise spanish to an A- this year and Math to an A- too

Could you just tell me what to do to make myself more competitive for Nova?(yet to take SAT II, ik I have to take 2)

I know that im only going to be a JR, so could someone give me advice on how to better myself to help be get into nova?

You are on course but could fall short if you let down this year.
My advice is to make your junior year the BEST academic year of your life.Think about straight A’s and getting your weighted GPA near 4.00 , and class rank closer to 10%.
Also think about which teacher will write your recommendation.

and think about essays

You’re on track-- note that the Bus school is very difficult to get into (SATs = mid 1400s). Community service is a big plus. Care given to application is very important.

Thanks for the advice. Can you go into the LSA for Fresh year and then go into bossiness for your sophmore year?

Most likely not. Very very few transfers into bus are accepted-- steller grades are a must. No bait & switch here.

You might want to consider a school that does not require you to declare your major until sopmore year; i…e. U Richmond-- also difficult to get into-- especially if you’re from NJ. ( FYI–NJ is a state people love to hate therefore we have lots of attidude, tough skin – which makes people hate us more-- vicious cycle! lol)

Show interest. Take a tour. Ask to have an interview with the dept. Sit in on classes for a day. I typed my resume. I’m sure that helped. Try not to ask for too much financial aid. Have at least one family member who went to VU. Have one of your parents get a job at VU, then you can go for free.
