SOS achievement verification by admissions officer.

I’m USACO (USA Coding Olympiad) Gold, but under an alternate screen name (because i didn’t want to be judged by schoolmates and stuff for my scores). I have the account credentials and stuff, but in the results it says another name.

However, I have extensive coding experience (interned at cs companies for a couple years, did cs research project, 5 on apcs etc), so it shouldn’t be a surprise to admissions officers that I’m also USACO Gold.

Gold is like top 25% in the US or something for the competitors, and it’s like somewhat recognized so I feel that they may check upon it.

If colleges check (off chance they do), they wouldn’t be able to find my name. how would I tell them that it was me? I can send them my account credential and let them log in, but that’s kinda weird.

They might contact my counselor, but my counselor is clueless too and doesn’t know I’m usaco gold (we have 150 students per counselor)

My letter of rec from my math teacher will say that I"m usaco gold i think (since i put it in my achievemetns and she can vouch for my intellect i guess).

but this is like a weird situation. it’s an award that’s pretty big, but not like insanely big i feel, and it’s not like out of the ordinary, just that the 1% chance they check would i get rekt.

SOS

It’s pretty unlikely that they’ll check. Imagine being and admissions officers and reading hundreds of applications-- you wouldn’t check every award each applicant lists, would you? With your teacher backing it up in the rec, I doubt an admission officer would suspect you are lying. If they did for some reason want proof, they would probably contact your counselor and your counselor would ask you about it and then you could explain the situation if need be.
