South Africans chance of getting into MIT, Stanford or Princeton

Hi Everyone

I am a white South African student who would like to study chemical engineering or computer science at a top tier university. Just wanted to know if anyone thinks I have a chance

My marks are as follows
English: 85%
Afrikaans(first additional language): 82%
Math: 97%
Physical Science: 95%
Accounting: 94%
Biology: 89%
Information Technology:94%
Advanced Program Maths: 93%

My extracurricular activities are as follows
1st team cricket and provincial cricket(making a state team in America)
1st team athletics
1st team cross country
Forum discussion team
Top 3 on grade of 250 pupils
Member of the academic support task team
Member of the public relations task team
Do numerous community service projects

I have yet to take the SATs and I know they play a major role in the admissions process. I am going to apply to these varsities due to their need based application process and would be unable to afford to study here under normal circumstances.

What do you think my chances are of getting into MIT, Stanford or Princeton.

Thanks

Theres no point in chancing you since you dont have your sat scores.

Because marks are different in the US, it’s hard to evaluate you. For instance, an 82 in the US isn’t very good, but in British-patterned schools it’s quite good…
The SAT (and SAT subjects) would help us gauge your odds, but right now it looks more that you’re competitive for engineering programs at schools ranked 40-80 (still top 5% in the US). Schools like MIT or Princeton would expect a national science prize or research or another exceptional achievement - they probably take fewer than a handful of South Africans and your profile, as described above, does not sound like that of the best one or two kids in the country. Your profile looks that of a top student, excellent but not the best ONE in his country.
Also, what 's your budget?

Why ask without your SAT scores?
