Southwest Engineering Safties

Hello. I am looking for safeties in the SW USA that are good at Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science.

My current list follows:
[ul]
[]Stanford
[]UC Berkeley
[]Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
[]Caltech
[li]University of Southern California[/li][/ul]

As you see, there is nothing north of 40% acceptance. That is a problem. What would you suggest?

Whether a school is a safety depends on:

a. How your academic and other qualifications compare to the school’s admissions selectivity.

b. What you can afford compared to the school’s net cost after non-loan financial aid.

Since you specified neither of the above, the best anyone can do is point you toward the ABET, where you can look at the accreditation lists for electrical engineering, computer engineering, and computer science to get ideas (note, however, that the top schools in computer science often don’t bother with ABET accreditation, but the less well known schools often do in order to “validate” the quality of their degree programs).
