Spaniards in Princeton?

Spain, what do you want to study?

do you apply as hispanic, spain? I'm not spanish....I'm salvadoran/peruvian/chinese...so the last spaniard in the family ummm passed away a decade ago....

Yeah, I'm familiar with Colegio Estudio. It's not far from my house. Why do you want to know?
I applied as Hispanic. I know many people feel that Spanish people who apply as Hispanics are taking advantage of the system, but just look up the term "Hispanic" in the dictionary. Hispanic comes from the Hispanic Peninsula (ie: SPAIN).
I was REJECTED today from Georgetown, so now I believe I've got no chance of getting into Princeton. Do any of you guys know someone rejected any university and then accepted into any of the ivies???

Bye

Last year my daughter’s friend was accepted at Princeton, Harvard and Stanford and rejected by Georgetown.

what do you mean? I don't really use the dictionary like it's written in stone...and I know spain was originally known as hispania, as named by the romans. Anywho, non-hispanics in general don't understand most of this, so it's easier to just classify everyone into one category. Under your definition of hispanic, then the portuguese count as hispanic. Anywho, it doesn't matter, and be optimistic, you'll make it.
