I received an email inviting me to a special information session on April 17th that reads “We are pleased to invite you to a special 2-hour conversation with a small group of newly admitted Tar Heels. You’ll get a chance to meet future classmates, hear directly from the Senior Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, and engage in a Q&A with current students. This event is for students only; due to space limitations, parents are asked to not attend the session. We invite parents to take this time to visit other campus offices or explore Chapel Hill.” Is this something everyone gets and is there really something special about it/can you give me more details? Thank you!
For those of us who are OOS and live nearly 1000 miles away, asking us to come for a 2 hour special session is a little silly.
I received the same e-mail. I’m pretty sure it’s just a mass e-mail to everyone. The session will probably be similar to Decision Days, where UNC is trying to persuade you to come to their university.
