Special Reunion at Half Time of the Bama/A&M Game

20 former Aggies and former Bryant players will be honored on the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium when Texas A&M faces Alabama for the first time as Southeastern Conference rivals.

In addition to the game, the university will also host a special reception at the Bryant Museum, where some of their memorabilia has been on display along with a replica of the only Heisman Trophy won by a Bryant-coached player.

Along with John David Crow, who edged Iowa tackle Alex Karras for the award in 1957, also expected to attend are former Alabama and Texas A&M coach Gene Stallings, 1955 team captain Billy Pete Huddleston, and longtime Alabama assistant coach Dee Powell (1958, 1964-82), who like Stallings and Goehring was one of the famous “Junction Boys.”

^^^Oh, wow, how awesome! I would love to see that as well.

I am so excited that Bama is playing Texas A&M. We are putting off seeing the new Bond movie so we can stay home and watch the game!
