Spoilt freshman year and chances at top schools?

Repertory Company: B+
Honors English: C+
Spanish 2: B
Honors World Cultures: B
Algebra 1: A+
Honors Biology: A+

These are my horrible grades. I have a feeling that they will hurt me since freshman year is significant to most colleges. I am a rising sophomore and I guess I am taking initiative. I have been studying all summer so far to ensure that my sophomore transcript is not ****. I am not just studying for school, but for math competitions as well since I did not do as well as I should have. Is my sophomore course load good enough? I am taking the most rigorous classes offered and an extra online class.
Honors Chemistry
Honors English 10
Honors Algebra 2/Honors Modern Algebra
Plane Geometry
APUSH
Economics and the Entrepreneur (req.)
Honors Bioethics (online VHS)
Spanish 3

I borrowed a Spanish 3 textbook and I am currently studying with it. I hope to complete the Spanish 4 honors class summer assignments and then transfer to the class. I had to double up in math since I am average or below average, I'm sure, compared to my fellow Class of 2016 peers. I would have also taken Honors Plane and Solid Geometry, but I am more interested in pursuing physics in college so I figured Algebra 2 would aid me more. I guess my problem was that I was not focused during freshman year and I had some issue outside of school, so... But that is still no valid excuse when there is some village boy in some third world country who probably has flawless marks. I am using the online Education Portal website to study for English by using the AP Lang. and Lit. course videos. I am using EP for APUSH as well and obtaining and U.S. History source I can. I honestly have grown to love every subject. Now onto the ECs that could make or break my chances.
ECs: Math Team, Anime Club, Mock Trial

For Mock Trial the only spot I could obtain was that of a juror. The Mock Trial supervisor had assigned me understudy for one of the lawyers even though there were other freshmen in the club who are much more intelligent than myself. I am probably quitting the Anime Club and starting a Physics Society/Club (Like anyone will join!!). I will probably join the science team and I am definitely sticking with Mock Trial. I have done some volunteering at a library but I still have a chance to sign up for an internship with a senator, so I will try and get that in for the current summer. I know these ECs are weak, but they are what I would like to pursue. I am currently studying for the SATs and I hope the math classes with help with that as well. I am nothing special, but I hope this slightly increases my chances. PLease provide me with advice. I am begging for it and I am extremely anxious about the college process. Sorry I did not cure cancer, but not everyone can.
I guess I have some "hooks." First generation college student, I am biracial, with a Sudanese dad and an Arab mother (sadly this is a hook), and the total income is below 60,000.
Thanks for your time.
