How much does the social life revolve around sports at middlebury? Will you have a hard time fitting in if you’re not good at sports?

Middlebury has just under 2,500 undergrads, of which 27 percent participate in varsity sports. That leaves around 1,825 students who aren’t on varsity teams. Some of the remainder participate in club sports or other outdoor activities (like hiking, skiing, etc.), but the non-athletes still far outnumber the athletes.
Not really, if you’re in that culture it seems significant but if you’re not you definitely won’t feel excluded.
