I know only some Law Schools offer courses in Sports Law, and a few offer a dual degree in law and sports management/administration. My question is what are the best Law Schools for Sports Law, or what programs are well known for having good courses? since I know it isn’t a major field. From what I’ve seen UNC and Florida State have good programs but so far that’s all I’ve found.
There’s your answer. (Law schools is pretty generic, so specialties just don’t exist.)
Of big Law, Proskauer has a history of sports law, but the fact is, even boutigues get into the game when litigation is involved. And it usually is. (Big firms have too many conflicts to sue.)
