Spring 2019 Transfer Question

Hello.
I’m currently enrolled at a CC here in California. I was supposed to transfer to San Jose State pursuing a degree in Psychology this Fall semester. Over the past few months I’ve given a lot of thought about my future and asked myself if I really wanted to major in Psychology.

So I’ve decided that I’m going to stay at my CC and become a Geography major. My school offers an ADT in Geography, however I have not taken any of the classes yet required for the ADT. Although I have the opportunity to complete all 7 of those courses this upcoming Fall semester. I know I can do it.

My question is: Will CSULB still consider my application? Of course I’ve already completed 60 units of classes, as well as all of the GE requirements and the Core Four classes.

As of now, when I complete the application next month in August. My GPA will be 3.42, with no courses yet to be completed for my geography major, I will have to indicate those courses as In Progress. How will my application look? I know it’s an unconventional route but I still have a chance right? I really don’t want to wait another year.

Thank you
