@homerdog Well that’s infuriating! For my kid’s schools, he had to sign in as an admitted student though. I think the one family per tour is a huge problem when there are 100s of admits with only 5 weeks to make a decision.
I’m feeling pretty steamed about not getting even an hour of official interaction time with an AO or tour guide or something at some of these schools that are offering visits but have so few spots they get snapped up in minutes. (Feels like vaccine hunting!) For some students, it’s important to visit and interact. These schools will get $200-300k from us over the next four years and they can’t make more of an effort to accommodate an hour for us. Unbelievable.
My son is down to 2 schools, Rutgers and Ball State… we’re doing a Ball State tour this Friday in-person. Even though Rutgers is mostly closed, we have a connection that will give him an in-person tour of the facilities he’s interested in so he can make a fair comparison and decision.
