anyone else planning on a spring break trip senior year? its a tradition for the seniors in my school to go to barbados and i'd say about half the grade is going. hotness. so anyone else doing something cool? lets not talk about college for a minute...

what, you guys dont like joy?

They still have a few minutes 'til final click and they must have crashed and burned.

suppose so.

not everyone lives in the upper east side and can afford an expensive trip to an exotic island

This is true but many groups of soon-to-be-graduates do plan a group outing of some sort........I don't belive the OP said he was runnning a contest for the most splendiferous trip.......just wanted to share his changed focus for the next 41 days. So.....in that spirit you could share your diversion or the trip you "wish" you could plan. How about that??

agreed. except im a her. what kind of ultra feminine guy would have xoxo in his user name? hehehe. anyhow, i just meant to figure out what kinds of interesting things (or uninteresting) people are doing in the spring. seems innocent enough. i guess theres an anti happy backlash. ;)

Dude, SB is like... months away.

I'm not sure where I'm going for the next break. I really don't like the beach and the tropics.

Last year, for my junior year, three of my friends and I trekked through the UK. We got in a bit of trouble, but I hope it won't cause me my next spring vacation. I'm thinking about Prague.

The seniors at my school aren't doing anything for Spring Break, but we go on a huge trip right after graduation. We're still trying to decide where to go. Most grades go to Spain, Italy or Greece. So we'll most likely end up in one of those places, but a bunch of people want to go to Australia. So any place is cool.

I'm excited already- its like the only bright spot in the future.

Spring break....16 days of freedom...I have no idea what my friends are planning - I blew all of my trip money to go to Paris and then World Youth Day in Cologne. Road trip maybe.

More urgently, winter break is the longest it's been in a while, 17 days. I have no idea what I'm doing for that.

If no trips get arranged - I guess we'll just have to have parties every night.

Well, a more pertinent break is looming:

4 day weekend next week! (staff development day + vetern's day = no school on thursday and friday)

Thanksgiving break (wooo no school for a week)

Yeah so November rocks: only 14 school days and my birthday in the same month. Gee wizz, I'm a lucky guy. Hopefully during thanksgiving break, I'll have my UC + stanford + rice app done, so I can just chill out/probably take BART to san francisco to just hang out.

Come on guys. By the time spring roles around, we'll pretty much know where we're going to colleges. You guys should all take a road trip in its most basic form, which means only having a vague idea of where to go with limited funds and a whole lotta time. Or as my friends and I are doing, going to visits colelges where we get accepted to.

I feel so utterly poor. I'm doing what I do every year. A week of freedom from everything at home ;)

i havent decided what im doin for db ... maybe Ft. Myers,FL.. Im planning on starting school in mid-june so the after graduation trip is out for me

Its usually Aspen with my family and maybe a couple of friends if they are going this year.

for winter break it's korea for me. pretty sure since i reserved my plane ticket. Hmm spring break? If i get accepted i think i'll just visit the early schools i got into. i'm a little bit poor to go to some exotic island.
