Spring Time Visiting

Im thinking about visiting during my spring break, but to save money on plane tickets I'm buying tickets now. My plan is to buy a ticket coming out of the general area and I'll just visit which ever college i have been accepted to.

my worry is, when are these results coming out? My spring break is in early april and I'd rather not miss a whole week of school. But if I go before they are annoucned, I don't have time to visit all of the shcools I applied to. Anyone know if these guys published a date, or if they have a date they traditionally announce? Will it be online?

(All schools I am applying to: Amherst, Harvard, Columbia, Yale, Princeton, Brown, UPenn)

p.s. I am posting this post on all the boards because each board probably only knows about that specific college's date. Not because im a nervous lunatic)

the ivies respond on may 1 usually

Don't you mean April 1st? May 1st is the reply date.

As for Harvard and Yale, I'm pretty sure the date of online decisions is March 29th. I was at Princeton 2 weeks ago, and the admissions officer told me early April (most likely online, instead of paper mail).

^most likely online, instead of paper mail

a long-overdue move into the twenty-first century. i'm glad to hear of it, for applicants' sakes.

princeton likes to keep things traditional. haha

april seems a loooong way away. :(

I think that if Harvard and Yale have decided to release on March 29th, Princeton will too. In the past, all of the Ivies always made a point to mail out their letters on the same day, before the whole online-decision thing became popular. I can imagine that Princeton would want to stick with the other two (and probably the remaining five) by releasing their online decisions on March 29th. Either way, decisions will likely be out before your spring break.
