Spring Welcome Day?

I just got a call from Michigan asking if I was going to attend this. Is anyone else going? It came in some invitation with tulips on it. How is it any different from campus day?

Can't say I've gotten this mail... o.O

I was wondering about this too, got the invite a few weeks ago.

This is what I found online about it:

Spring Welcome Day is a one-time program that occurs each spring. It is open for all admitted minority students, both in and out of state, and their families. Students and families will attend panel presentations, go on tours, eat lunch in the residence halls, and attend an information fair.

I got an invite too. Can't say I'm a minority though...

When did you guys get this invite?

I think I got it last week, or this week. Not quite sure. So does anyone know how this differs from campus day?

"So does anyone know how this differs from campus day?"

If you have to ask, it's probably nothing new. I'm guessing one is for prospective students, one is for accepted students. Probably not much difference in what they do.

Now...that I think about it. It is probably for those students who a receiveing some sort of a university scholarship.
