SRAR in trouble.

So the thing is this. During Sophomore, I transfer in the middle of the year from the High School A to High School B. In the SRAR, I wrote down that I began my A High school in from 08/2011 to 12/2011 (it's the first semester of 10th grade). For B High School , I wrote down that it's from 01/2012 to 06/2014 (include 2nd semester of 10th grade, 11th grade, and 12th grade). However, in the Enter Coursework, when I chose the B High School, but it just appears "Coursework entered for 2012-2013" and "Coursework entered for 2013-2014". This means that I can only provide my grades for 11th and 12th grade and there is no place to entered my 2nd semester of my 10th grade. When I checked the A High School , it appeared "Coursework enter for 2011-2012" which means for the whole 10th grade. Can you give me any solution for this problem?

I would probably call Admissions and ask. If you cannot get an answer, in the interest of time, I would complete your SRAR with the correct grades for each semester, even if the SRAR is telling you that it is for A school rather than B school. You have already noted the correct dates of attendance on your form. (so fill in all the grades for each year, so you don’t have any missing semesters).

If you are accepted, and if you decide to attend, you will need to submit your official transcript. At that time, they will see that the grades were earned in those odd time periods. As long as you are listing accurate courses and grades, I don’t think there will be a problem. It should eventually all catch up.

Of course the optimum scenario is to call Rutgers and get an ‘official’ answer but they are swamped right now and I am not sure you will get a quick or even consistent response.

Thank you so much for your answer. I did call the admission a couple weeks ago and they said I could send them my official transcript through mail to their office. The thing is when I called them yesterday. They still didn’t receive it or may be it wasn’t put into the computer yet. Either way, because the deadline is very close right now. I have to figure out something to do with this thing.

By the way, my A school is an International school and I don’t know any counselor at that school. What should I fill in for the counselor thing. This gives me a headache too.

They ask for a counselor so they have a means of contact. They are not going to contact every counselor of everyone who applies. I would go on your A school’s website and find a counselor and list their phone number and name. I wouldn’t worry about it.

If you are near a deadline, I would just submit your SRAR to the best of your ability and I would not worry about it.

My guess is that they did receive your information, but they have yet to enter it into their system. Rutgers is very huge and things get done when they get done.
